On Friday December 12th Paul and Jacqui play their last gig of the year at Manchester’s Academy 2. The date is actually an extra date after the end of the tour and is in aid of HOPE for Christmas-a benefit to raise funds for a number of campaigns and charities that make a change, make a difference.

You may be aware that we are asking if people attending could please bring with them a non-perishable item for distribution to Foodbanks.
We don’t need people to go mad and haul in the entire contents of their local supermarket, just one item can help and be distributed. It’s not a competition; it is an act of solidarity and compassion.
If you cannot bring an item for the foodbank's, there will be special merchandise available and some extraordinary prizes on offer on the night. The proceeds will go to the organisations this evening is in aid of.
With the kind help of SUMA Foods, we have already distributed meals for four hundred people. We’re not going to change the world in one night; we won’t end poverty, change the tax system, cut zero hour employment, defeat fascism. But we can help those who work in those sectors 365 days a year by showing a little solidarity.
